Painting Competition-Pixels of Paradise

Information Technology Department invites you to participate in our thrilling online painting competition, where you have the opportunity to showcase your talent and creativity while capturing the captivating essence of Digital J&K “Digital JK, Unnat JK, Mobile JK” in Jammu and Kashmir. Selection Criteria

Each entry should include the following:
a) A maximum of 02 paintings per participant is allowed
b) Participants below the age of 15 and participants above the age of 15 are eligible to participate.
c) Location (State/District/City)
d) Date on which made.
e) Each painting should be less than 5 MB and downloadable in JPG format only. The orientation of the image can be either landscape or portrait.
f) The entry should be original and not previously published in print or digital media.
g) The entry should not include copyrighted or trademarked images and logos.
h) Selfies will be disqualified from the competition.

Rewards

The top five winners of the selected best entries shall be awarded cash prizes and a certificate of appreciation from the Additional Secretary, Information Technology Department, Jammu. The prize amounts are as follows:
1st Prize: ₹10,000/-
2nd Prize: ₹5,000/-
3rd Prize: ₹3,000/-
Consolation Prizes: (02) ₹2,000/- each.

The last date of submission is 5th August 2023

Terms and Conditions
1. The competition is open only to residents of J&K.
2. The entry must be original, not violate any provision of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957, and must not infringe on the intellectual rights of any third party.
3. The entry must not contain provocative, objectionable, or inappropriate content.
4. The winning entries would be the intellectual property of the Information Technology Department; J&K and the winners shall not exercise any right over it.
5. The winning entries may be used by the IT Department, J&K for promotional/ or display purposes, IEC (Information, Education, and Communication) materials, and for any other use as may be deemed appropriate.
6. The name/title/caption of the photograph(s) should be original and must not infringe on the Intellectual Property Rights of any third party.
7. MyGov reserves the right to cancel or amend all or any part of this Contest and/ or Terms and Conditions/ Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria. However, any changes to the Terms and Conditions/ Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria, or the Contest’s cancellation will be updated/ posted on the MyGov platform. It would be the participant’s responsibility to keep themselves informed of any changes in the Terms and Conditions/ Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria stated for this Contest.
8. The participant should ensure that their MyGov profile is accurate and updated since this will be used for further communication. This includes details such as name, photo, complete postal address, email ID, and phone number. Entries with incomplete profiles would not be considered.
9. All the entries received by MyGov would be assessed by a committee of judges for selecting the entries/logos. The decision of the Committee shall be final and binding.
10. Entries would be judged based on elements of creativity, originality, composition, technical excellence, simplicity, artistic merit, and visual impact and how well they communicate the need to be reflected.
