The UT of J&K offers beautiful verdant mountains and valleys, religious shrines and remote mountains – a paradise on earth.
The tourism sector is not just a leading source of employment, particularly for women and youth but it also provides opportunities for cohesion and socio-economic inclusion across the regions.
In this regard, J&K MyGov is inviting ideas and suggestions on how to boost tourism in the Union Territory of J&K which will not only encourage tourist inflow but will also support local communities. This would leave a long lasting contribution to strengthen the economy and give new opportunities to the people living here.
Last date of submission is 31st July, 2022.

In order to boost tourism in kashmir
carrying capacity of a place
Single use of plastic complete ban (No Entry)
Development of unexplored tourist destinations
Price of Travel, accommodation, activities should be monitored closely
People with in the country should be asked to visit so that they can spread the word of mouth although J&K Tourism is spending lot of money on promotion of tourism but not sufficient results are obtained..it should be target based

Much has been achieved during last plan periods due to hard work of farmers and constant efforts of the department of Horticulture through implementation of various centrally and state sponsored schemes. Arrival of huge quantities of Orange, Ginger, Pine-apple, Large cardamom etc in local markets and markets of Assam during seasons is a testimony of this fact.

The Green life
Capture it... Utilize it....
Solar energy, solar power derived from the sun through the use of solar panels, is just one of the newest initiatives the "Going Green" movement has presented to us, in an effort to build and maintain renewable and sustainable power sources. It is becoming cheaper to make electricity from solar energy and in many situations it is now competitive with energy from coal or oil. Solar cells can be used to generate electricity from sunlight.

The Green life
Adore it.... Store it....
There is no higher quality source of water available to us than rainwater. Unlike water captured in dams which requires an extensive treatment process to ensure a quality fit for human consumption, rainwater that is collected on roofs and stored appropriately represents a sustainable source of water ideal for use inside and outside the home. Collecting and using rainwater can be a great way to conserve resources.

Jammu Province has immense potential for tourism development which is yet untapped. The diversity of the state and even within Jammu Province should be used positively to develop tourism sector. From religious tourism to adventure to attractive holiday destinations, more focus needs to be there to develop tourism in a way which doesn't disturb ecology and also help local residents in livelihood.
Many unexpThe temples of Jammu Province are yet unknown in rest of the country.
