एकल-उपयोग वाले प्लास्टिक के खतरे को रोकने के लिए हमें दुकानदारों और विक्रेताओं को पुनर्नवीनीकरण कागज और जूट बैग का उपयोग करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करना चाहिए। और साथ ही हम प्लास्टिक की प्लेटों के स्थान पर पत्तियों ( डोगरी में पत्तल कहलाते हैं) के उपयोग को बढ़ावा दे सकते हैं। मैंने विभिन्न आयोजनों में भी देखा है कि हम मेहमानों को प्लास्टिक की पानी की बोतलें प्रदान करते हैं, हम इसे जग और कांच से बदल सकते हैं.. यह अधिक ऊर्जा बचा सकता है और बदले में कचरे को कम करने में मदद करता

To curb the menace of single-use plastic we should encourage the shopkeepers and vendors to use recycled papers and jute bags. And also we can promote the use of leaves ( called pattals in Dogri) instead of plastic plates. I've also seen in various events we offer plastic water bottles to guests, we can swap it with jug and glass..it can save more energy and in turn help in waste reduction

Under the Plastic Use Act by the Government of India, single plastic has been banned from July 2022 on single plastic. Making a law to ban the use of single plastic in the J&K assembly and to ban the teachers in the schools that all Children should be motivated to stop using single plastic by stating the disadvantages of using it.
