The District Administration Udhampur invites students, youth, and citizens to participate in the Nasha Mukt Udhampur Essay Writing Competition. The competition aims to encourage participants to express their views on drug abuse and contribute ideas for building a drug-free society.

Theme
“Building a Drug-Free Society: Role of Youth”
Objective
To promote awareness, critical thinking, and social responsibility among participants regarding the harmful effects of substance abuse.
Eligibility
• Open to all (No age bar)
Submission Guidelines
1. Essays must be between 500–1000 words.
2. File format: PDF / DOC.
3. Content may be in Hindi / English / Urdu.
4. Only original content will be accepted.
5. One entry per participant.
Content Guidelines
• Essays should address causes, impacts, prevention, and solutions related to drug abuse.
• Content must promote awareness and responsible behaviour.
• Political, offensive, or plagiarised content is prohibited.

Terms and Conditions
• District Administration Udhampur reserves the right to use submitted entries for awareness campaigns with due credit.
• Plagiarised or non-compliant entries will be disqualified.
Rewards
• Top five entries will be awarded cash prizes and certificates as follows:
• 1st Prize: ₹5,000
• 2nd Prize: ₹4,000
• 3rd Prize: ₹3,000
• 4th Prize: ₹2,000
• 5th Prize: ₹1,000
• Prizes will be awarded subject to verification of entries and adherence to contest guidelines.
