Cyber Safety Awareness Video / Reel Contest

Description
The Government of Jammu and Kashmir invites youth, students, and community volunteers to participate in the Cyber Safety Awareness Video / Reel Contest under the Cyber Security Awareness Campaign 2025-26. The contest aims to promote responsible digital behaviour and encourage citizens to adopt safe internet practices through impactful digital storytelling.

Theme
“My Role in Making Cyberspace Safe and Responsible”
Objective
To engage youth and communities through short, creative videos that spread awareness about cyber threats, safe internet practices, responsible use of Artificial Intelligence, and protection from online fraud.
Eligibility
• Youth (15–35 years)
• School / College / University Students
• ITI Students
Submission Guidelines
1. Videos must be 30–90 seconds in duration.
2. Participants may upload the video file or provide a secure view-only link (YouTube / Google Drive).
3. Videos may be in any language; subtitles are encouraged.
4. Only original content created specifically for this contest will be accepted.
5. Each participant/group may submit one entry only.
Content Guidelines
• Content may include awareness messages, short skits, real-life cyber safety experiences, or demonstrations of safe digital practices.
• The video must promote cyber security awareness and responsible use of technology.
• Content must not be political, commercial, offensive, or objectionable.
• Participants must obtain consent from individuals appearing in the video.
Evaluation Criteria
• Effectiveness and clarity of cyber awareness message
• Creativity, originality, and authenticity
• Social relevance and audience engagement

Terms and Conditions
• Participants grant the IT Department, J&K the right to use videos for awareness and outreach with due credit.
• Non-compliance with guidelines will lead to disqualification.
• Submissions shall be governed by applicable laws of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
Rewards
• Top three entries will be awarded e-Certificates
