The UT of J&K offers beautiful verdant mountains and valleys, religious shrines and remote mountains – a paradise on earth.

The tourism sector is not just a leading source of employment, particularly for women and youth but it also provides opportunities for cohesion and socio-economic inclusion across the regions.

In this regard, J&K MyGov is inviting ideas and suggestions on how to boost tourism in the Union Territory of J&K which will not only encourage tourist inflow but will also support local communities. This would leave a long lasting contribution to strengthen the economy and give new opportunities to the people living here.

Last date of submission is 31st July, 2022.

The J&K government is doing a lot for the growth and development of tourism in almost all the tourist stations. As per my view the HELICOPTER JOY RIDES CAN ADD AN ADDITIONAL FLAVOUR IN THE TOURISM.

To boost Tourism folllowing point should be concenred
1) firstly we have to wanish the fear of terrorist act form tourist's mind,cause in my region every person has slake to go and explore Kashmir but they says that there is so many terrorist activity and refuse to visit
2) Transporting availability and cheap
3) Advertise j&k using their local people not by any political leader or any eminent person and in that show local people with traditional clothing ,local famous foods and love j&k.

1) Adver11) Develop JKTDC app onestop for visting heaven and Advertisements for same .
2) Advertise jandk tourism on other state tourisn websites.
3) We need to have JKTDC repsenentatives in every major cities in India who can promote JKTDC with local travel agents.

If we see govt is foucs only previous spots and can't try to devlop the other sits which much more attractive and safe ares but unfortunately we are not interested in this facts if all over we try to devlop the tourist sites all over may we get much more it is kind information ❤️ for devlop the other tourist destination.

The UT of J&K bestowed with varying geographical features and moderate temperature attracts tourists across international boundaries. The tourism sector can be explored for creation of vast tourism related employment including private/ self-employment in the UT. There is need simplify the process for registration of travel agents/ tour operators to enable and encourage youth for self employment in the sector.
