The UT of J&K offers beautiful verdant mountains and valleys, religious shrines and remote mountains – a paradise on earth.

The tourism sector is not just a leading source of employment, particularly for women and youth but it also provides opportunities for cohesion and socio-economic inclusion across the regions.

In this regard, J&K MyGov is inviting ideas and suggestions on how to boost tourism in the Union Territory of J&K which will not only encourage tourist inflow but will also support local communities. This would leave a long lasting contribution to strengthen the economy and give new opportunities to the people living here.

Last date of submission is 31st July, 2022.

The UT of J&K bestowed with varying geographical features and moderate temperature attracts tourists across international boundaries. The tourism sector can be explored for creation of vast tourism related employment including private/ self-employment in the UT. There is need simplify the process for registration of travel agents/ tour operators to enable and encourage youth for self employment in the sector.

We can calculate the total amount of plastic is being imported in J&K and manufactured within. Also we can use IOT and other tools and techniques to regularly monitor them. We can take the help of Blockchain and give chance to government and people to validate the amount being imported within state, exported and recycle. To make j&K plastic free we can really work on that so that not only government but people will come forward to monitor. A weekly report of plastic added to be released in news.

Montaneous track on Amarnath ji yatra are very narrow and dangerous. Many incidents of death or serious head injuries noticed in previous yatras where many lost their precious lives. Since pilgrims are expected to double this year and in order to save lives, it is suggested that a helmet should be compulsory for horse rider likewise in Sri Mata Vaishno Devi ji yatra for their safety.

One of the best way to boost jk tourism is advertisement in indian news channels.2nd thing is contribution of people of kashmir and at the same time govt.in keeping the tourist places clean 3rd thing is to ensure safety and security of tourists from all over the world besides that kashmiri people who are associated with these places ,they should be taken care of both financially which encourages them to be more enthusiastic towards their jobs.
