POLYTHENE has created havoc. It should be replaced by biodegradable bags. Otherwise, our beautiful earth will not spare us and our next generations.

Single use plastic use can be minimised by following ways:-
1_Awareness among Masses
2_Complete Ban on Plastic
3_Promotion of reusable carriers:This can be done by providing free or less priced bio-degredable bags/carriers.
4_Vendors should be provided plenty of the above mentioned bags on subsidised rates.
5_Fine on violaters of Plastic Act(which should be passed , banning plastic in UT),the collected fine should be spent on providing bio-degredable bags to people.

This is the serious issue today faced in our state jk. Maximising the use of polythene will degrade the beauty of our UT.It can be reduced only with the help of govt. Govt should ban the use of polythene bags , rappers . In place of poly bags there should be jute and cotton bags ,there should be wooden baskets.Dustbins should be properly placed ,not too far nor too near .The garbage generating in the sate should be properly treated and disposed at the proper place .

1. Total polythene ban by govt.
2. Promotion of use of paperbags.
3. Use of bio degradable products.
4. Spreading awareness among masses about polythene and it's harmful effects.
