The Information Technology Department under the UT of Jammu and Kashmir is delighted to announce a Poster making Competition for the residents of Jammu and Kashmir on “Swachhta Pakhwada," an online event aimed at promoting the Swachh Bharat (Clean India) mission through the power of visual art. This contest invites participants to create compelling and visually striking posters that highlight the importance of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation. By participating, you can use your artistic skills to spread awareness and inspire others to contribute to a cleaner and healthier India.
Submission Guidelines:
1. Participants are requested to fill complete details i.e name, mobile, email ID etc.
2. All youth and college students of Universities in J&K above age of 13 years are eligible to participate.
3. Images of the contest must be original compositions focused on themes of cleanliness and hygiene.
4. Participants should submit 3 entries in PDF or JPEG format.
5. Each submission must include a brief description along with contact details.
6. The best three entries will be selected and the candidates will be felicitated.
7. The entries will be evaluated based on their novelty of contribution, originality of thought, and ability to stimulate interest.
8. Each entry should include the following:
o Participants of all age groups are eligible to participate in the poetry competition.
o Location (State/District/City)
o Date on which it is written.
o The language used for writing the poetry should be English, Hindi and Urdu.
o Each file should be less than 5 MB and downloadable in JPG or PDF format only. The orientation of the file can be either landscape or portrait.
o The entry should be original and not previously published in print or any digital media.
o The entry should not include copyrighted or trademarked images and logos.
o Entries other than images Files i.e. Selfies/group Photographs will be disqualified from the competition.
Terms and Conditions
1. The competition is open only to the residents of J&K.
2. The entry must be original, not violate any provision of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957, and must not infringe on the intellectual rights of any third party.
3. The entry must not contain provocative, objectionable, or inappropriate content.
4. The winning entries would be the intellectual property of the Information Technology Department; J&K and the winners shall not exercise any right over it.
5. The winning entries may be used by the IT Department, J&K for promotional/ or display purposes, IEC (Information, Education, and Communication) materials, and for any other use as may be deemed appropriate.
6. The name/title/caption of the image(s) or PDFs should be original and must not infringe on the Intellectual Property Rights of any third party.
7. MyGov reserves the right to cancel or amend all or any part of this Contest and/ or Terms and Conditions/ Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria. However, any changes to the Terms and Conditions/ Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria, or the Contest’s cancellation will be updated/ posted on the MyGov platform. It would be the participant’s responsibility to keep themselves informed of any changes in the Terms and Conditions/Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria stated for this Contest.
8. The participant should ensure that their MyGov profile is accurate and updated since this will be used for further communication. This includes details such as name, photo, complete postal address, email ID, and phone number. Entries with incomplete profiles would not be considered.
9. All the entries received by MyGov would be assessed by a committee of judges for selecting the entries/logos. The decision of the Committee shall be final and binding.
10. Entries would be judged based on elements of creativity, originality, composition, technical excellence, simplicity, artistic merit, and visual impact and how well they communicate the need to be reflected.
Rewards : Top 3 winners will be awarded with e-certificates.
