Description: Poster / Creative Digital Artwork Competition
The Government of Jammu and Kashmir invites citizens to participate in the Poster / Creative Digital Artwork Competition under the national campaign “Bal Vivah Mukt Bharat.” The competition aims to harness the power of visual creativity to spread awareness against child marriage and promote the message “Say No to Child Marriage – Let Girls Dream, Learn & Lead.” Participants are encouraged to express strong social messages through impactful visual storytelling that inspires communities to protect the rights, education, and future of girls.
Contest Timelines:
20 January 2026 to 19 February 2026
Theme:
“Say No to Child Marriage – Let Girls Dream, Learn & Lead”
Objective:
To leverage creative visual expression for mass awareness and social change by highlighting the harmful effects of child marriage and the importance of education and empowerment of girls.
Eligibility
• School students (Classes VI–XII)
• Youth (18–35 years)
• General public with creative skills
Submission Guidelines
1. Artwork must be original and created exclusively for this competition.
2. Posters/artworks may be hand-drawn (scanned) or digitally designed.
3. Files must be uploaded in JPEG / PNG / PDF format.
4. Maximum file size allowed is 5 MB.
5. Each entry must be accompanied by a brief description (up to 100 words) explaining the concept and message.
6. Only one entry per participant is permitted.
Mandatory Conditions
• Use of copyrighted images, stock visuals, or AI-generated copyrighted content is strictly prohibited.
• The artwork must not contain offensive, political, commercial, or defamatory content.
• Participants must ensure that their submission does not violate any intellectual property or legal provisions.
Evaluation Criteria
• Visual impact and clarity of the message
• Creativity and originality
• Alignment with the Bal Vivah Mukt Bharat campaign objectives

General Conditions
1. Entries containing plagiarized content or violating any law shall be liable for disqualification.
2. Content that is defamatory, promotes unlawful activities, or violates intellectual property rights will not be accepted.
3. Commercial or promotional content is strictly prohibited.
4. Participants shall be solely responsible for any legal issues arising from their submissions.
Terms and Conditions
1. The Information Technology Department reserves the right to publish selected entries, with due credit, on its official websites and social media platforms for awareness and outreach purposes.
2. Publication of an entry does not automatically guarantee an award.
3. The names of winners and titles of winning entries may be displayed on official platforms and campaign-related materials.
4. Entries not conforming to the guidelines may be rejected without prior notice.
5. These guidelines shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
Rewards
• Top three entries will be awarded e-certificates.
