Capture Jammu & Kashmir Selfie Contest
Join the vibrant JKMyGov community and participate in the exciting “Capture Jammu & Kashmir Selfie Contest”. Through every selfie, showcase the beauty, culture, traditions, landscapes, heritage, tourism destinations, festivals, lifestyle, and vibrant spirit of Jammu & Kashmir. This initiative aims to celebrate the unique identity and scenic richness of the Union Territory while encouraging citizens to creatively capture and share memorable moments from across J&K.
How to Participate:
1. Register on the JKMyGov portal using your mobile number or email address.
2. Participate in the “Capture Jammu & Kashmir Selfie Contest”.
3. Take a creative selfie at any iconic, cultural, scenic, tourism, heritage, or public-interest location within Jammu & Kashmir.
4. Participants may also include local culture, traditional attire, festivals, crafts, nature, or community events in the selfie.
Eligibility:
1. Open to all residents of Jammu & Kashmir.
2. Participants of all age groups are encouraged to participate.
Submission Guidelines:
1. Image format: Landscape or Portrait orientation in JPEG/PNG/PDF format.
2. Participants must share their name, contact number, and email address along with the image submission.
Evaluation Criteria:
1. Relevance: Alignment of the selfie with the theme “Capture Jammu & Kashmir”.
2. Creativity & Impact: Originality, uniqueness, and visual appeal of the selfie.
3. Quality: Overall image quality, clarity, and presentation.
Terms and Conditions:
1. Each participant may submit only one entry.
2. The competition is open only to residents of Jammu & Kashmir.
3. The submitted image must be original and should not violate any provision of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957, or infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party.
4. The entry must not contain any provocative, objectionable, misleading, or inappropriate content.
5. The winning entries shall become the intellectual property of the Information Technology Department, J&K, and participants shall not claim any ownership rights over the same.
6. The selected entries may be used by the Information Technology Department, J&K for promotional campaigns, IEC materials, social media outreach, exhibitions, publications, or any other official purpose deemed appropriate.
7. JKMyGov reserves the right to cancel, amend, or modify any part of the contest, including Terms & Conditions, Technical Parameters, Evaluation Criteria, or timelines. Any updates shall be notified on the JKMyGov platform.
8. Participants must ensure that their JKMyGov profile details, including name, postal address, email ID, and phone number, are accurate and updated, as these details shall be used for further communication. Incomplete profiles may lead to disqualification.
9. All entries received shall be evaluated by a designated committee, and the decision of the committee shall be final and binding.
10. Entries shall be judged on creativity, originality, composition, technical quality, artistic merit, visual impact, and effectiveness in portraying the essence of Jammu & Kashmir.

Top 10 participants with the best selfie entries shall be suitably rewarded and recognized.
