The UT of J&K offers beautiful verdant mountains and valleys, religious shrines and remote mountains – a paradise on earth.

The tourism sector is not just a leading source of employment, particularly for women and youth but it also provides opportunities for cohesion and socio-economic inclusion across the regions.

In this regard, J&K MyGov is inviting ideas and suggestions on how to boost tourism in the Union Territory of J&K which will not only encourage tourist inflow but will also support local communities. This would leave a long lasting contribution to strengthen the economy and give new opportunities to the people living here.

Last date of submission is 31st July, 2022.

Sir,in district kulgam and district shopian there are two worthseeing spots 1.Dabjen and the 2 aharbal but due to non seribal
sir in aharbal we an attractive and worthseeing waterfall but the facilities are zero that makes the visited tourists very sad ,if gondola service ,boating and horse riding would be provided ,it will benefit the economy of j@k.
Moreover a well equiped amusement park should be installed that will act as a source of attraction for the tourists.

There is fresh water nallah oozing out, snow clad and green mountains, high Meadows, plain Meadows, etc. But the need of time is to develop this village as Tourist hub. It can attract thousands of tourists which will create direct and as well as indirect employemnt.Roads should be developed, so that there can be access to various sceneric locations in Jawahirpora Lam.

Few suggestions to make both the regions of state attractive for tourists:-
- Make entry to state by road attractive. As you enter state by road, at Lakhanpur only, one will feel entering some underdeveloped region. Make the entry beautiful and smooth. Make Lakhanpur market congestion free. Make good cafeteria and resting point at Lakhanpur entry.
- Train people involve in tourism sector in state, of both the govt and pvt sector to be more humble with tourists.
- Display boards enroute.
