The UT of Jammu and Kashmir has embarked on an ambitious and extensive programme of reaching out to grass root citizens to create an earnest desire for a decent standard of living in the rural masses.
The ‘Back to Village’ program is aimed to involve the citizens of the state and government officials in a joint effort to deliver the mission to achieve equitable development. The program seeks to energise Panchayats and direct development efforts in rural areas through community participation.
Despite the importance of the official machinery to guide and assist, the primary responsibility for improving the local conditions rests on the local population. Therefore, people must be encouraged to own a programme to maximise its impact.
Hence, citizens are invited to share their ideas and suggestions.
Last date of submission is 30th November 2022.

Back to Village is an initiative of Govt of India to make common people familiar about various flagship programs taken by the Govt for the welfare of the people. अपने गांव को आदर्श गांव कैसे बनाएं?
राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा गाँधी के अनुसार एक आदर्श ग्राम इस प्रकार होगी कि वह पूर्णतया स्वच्छ हो,गाँव के रास्तों व गलियों में कोई धूल-मिट्टी नही होगी। गाँव मे आवश्यकता अनुसार कुएं होंगे और उनका जल सभी के लिये उपलब्ध होगा। गाँव मे सभी के लिये प्रार्थना स्थल होगा।

एक गांव में क्या क्या सुविधाएं होनी चाहिए?
(1) आवासीय सुविधाएँ-गाँव में जानवरों से दूर मकान कच्चे या पक्के हों लेकिन साफ-सुथरे होने चाहिए। साथ ही घर में
स्नानगृह, शौचालय आदि की उचित व्यवस्था होनी चाहिए।
(2) पेयजल व्यवस्था-स्वच्छ पेयजल के लिए कुएँ, तालाब, बाबड़ी आदि का जीर्णोद्धार होना चाहिए तथा इन्हें दूषित होने से
बचाव होना चाहिए।
