Running or Jogging has always been a healthy habit for all. Not only is it good for our bodies, thanks to ‘plogging’, the eco-friendly running trend from Scandinavia, but it’s also proving to be good for the planet too.

Environmentally conscious runners have started an initiative to collect litter during their runs. The activity has been named “plogging” – a portmanteau of “jogging” and “plucking”. The ploggers grab a garbage bag and scan the streets for litter along their running route, depositing it in a recycle bin once it's full.

In this regard , J&K MyGov is inviting ideas and suggestions on how to boost the concept of plogging which will help to keep the UT of J&K clean.

Last date of submission is 30th April, 2022.

High rate plastic pollution is seen in marriages, hospitals and parties.Also political parties flags are made of plastic.why not leaf plates , pottery and indigo based washable wall paintings in political rellies....

The best way to popularise this idea is by making a good and innovative advertisement for it and promotion it on all social media platforms popular regional news channel and newspaper and on all govt portals.Also govt can choose a particular day in a week when these runs will take place so that the runners can meet at a place and start their run.

Firstly we implement the production and making of cloth bags and other non plastic bags and utility covers with a subsidise costs and same will be advertising in mass media, volunteer and young people through jaatha, run walking marathons.
Then we move to banning of least thickened plastics and timley complete ban of plastic covers and bags.
Involvement of factories are playing more role ,we approach them to packing of foods and other products are by non plastic covers

प्रातः काल या भ्रमण के समय प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को रास्ते मे पड़ी प्लास्टिक की बोतलों को उठाकर एक सरकार द्वारा नियत स्थान पर डाल देना चाहिये।सरकार को सबसे पहले कुछ स्थानों को चिंहितौर बोर्ड लगाना होगा जहाँ लोग प्लास्टिक की बोतलें या अन्य प्लास्टिक के पदार्थ जो रास्ते मे लोगो को मिले उठाकर उन्हें एक जगह दाल दे।जहाँ से उनको हर हफ्ते उठाने की व्यवस्था की जाए।प्रधानमंत्री ने लोगो से सुबह टहलने के समय प्लास्टिक के सामानों को रास्ते मे जो चीजे मिले।उन्हें उठाकर https://ayurmart.in/

जम्मू-कशीमर के गांवों को सिंगल यूज प्लास्टिक से मुक्त कराने के लिए ग्राम सभाएँ कई कदम उठा सकती है, जैसे-
- लोगों को प्लास्टिक के दुष्परिणाम के बारे में जागरुक करना
- प्लास्टिक कचरे को संसाधन के तौर पर उपयोग करना
- विकासखंडों में उन गांवों की पहचान करना जहां प्लास्टिक कचरे की समस्या विकराल है
- ऐसे गांवों को चयनित कर वहां प्लास्टिक-पॉलीथिन कचरे के लिए शेड निर्माण करना
- कांपेक्टर मशीनों का उपयोग करना
- रिसाइक्लिंग प्लांट लगाना
-प्लास्टिक, पॉलीथिन कचरे का विक्लप तैयार करना
