Running or Jogging has always been a healthy habit for all. Not only is it good for our bodies, thanks to ‘plogging’, the eco-friendly running trend from Scandinavia, but it’s also proving to be good for the planet too.

Environmentally conscious runners have started an initiative to collect litter during their runs. The activity has been named “plogging” – a portmanteau of “jogging” and “plucking”. The ploggers grab a garbage bag and scan the streets for litter along their running route, depositing it in a recycle bin once it's full.

In this regard , J&K MyGov is inviting ideas and suggestions on how to boost the concept of plogging which will help to keep the UT of J&K clean.

Last date of submission is 30th April, 2022.

Every person should pick up the plastic bottles lying on the way in the morning or at the time of travel and put them at a place fixed by the government. The government will first have to mark some places where people can use plastic bottles or other plastic items which are on the way. Pick up the people I found and give them pulses at a place. From where arrangements should be made to lift them every week. The Prime Minister asked the people to carry plastic items
